The lighting says it all, Karissa & Kyle’s November wedding (11.11.11 to be exact, how lucky!) was a celebration filled with color, warmth and love!

The couple shaked things up a bit when choosing a palette of bold colors, combined with autumnal details like branches and even cinnamon sticks!

Their celebration was held at the Hilton Garden Inn  in Troy, New York. The ballroom at the Hilton is just gorgeous and I cannot take credit for this fabulously draped ceiling, this is all their doing! But we did combine this exquisite drapery with our gold uplighting to truly make this room glow.

There is the beautiful couple cutting the cake! All of the great images are provided by Bailly Photography of Albany, New York.

The really great thing about this wedding is that Karissa was not afraid to use rich colors and a lot of them. Jewel tones such as ruby, topaz, sapphire & amethyst brought a truly regal sense to this wedding. Take that William & Kate!
Their beautiful tuscan table was decorated with a mirrored table runner and small vases of flowers.

There was a variety of tall and short centerpieces, and kept you guessing with different style vases. A fun way to create a different experience at every table for your guests! Also loved the wild addition of quail feathers and branches, really added a nice sense of texture.

It’s easy to go overboard with color, so a gold overlay paired with all ivory linens and jewel tone chair bows created just the right balance!
Karissa’s bouquet was so rich looking against her stunning and unique gown, made of red roses and eggplant calla lillies. Above is Karissa and the other men in her life – her brothers and father!

The bride & her maids, I just love how the colors pop against their sapphire blue dresses. The mother of the bride complemented the girls so well with a mini bouquet of white calla lillies and an eye catching eggplant gown.

This was such a fun celebration to be a part of, special thanks to Karissa for being such a fearless bride with her color choices!

We’ve got a lot of catching up to do, so stay tuned for more posts!
