I’m going to take a quick moment to get a little personal as Mother’s Day is approaching this Sunday. As a mother myself and now a blessed grandmother, there truly is no greater gift.
Only a mom will love you unconditionally and at 49 I know that I still need my mom. Pictured above is my mother Gladys with my oldest daughter Tiffany in a moment I will never forget. My mother spent months hand sewing every individual rose onto my daughter’s wedding dress, which was one of two dresses she made for her very special day. There is just no limit to the lengths she will go to for her children, grandchildren and now great grandchild! It’s such an admirable quality that I have tried to emulate in my life as well.
I won’t go on and on, I just wanted to say thank you to all of the hard-working moms; those who work in the home (I remember how hard it is chasing four little kids in four different directions!) and those who that go to work, wishing that they were with their children. You give your all and don’t ask for much in return and although we don’t always show it, we know that we wouldn’t get very far without the constant love and support of our Mothers. It’s the hardest job in the world (just ask the Today Show they’ve put a dollar amount on the value of a stay at home mom, it’s in the six figures!) and also the best job all rolled into one and I wouldn’t trade my mother or this job for anything.
Happy Mother’s Day to all of you Mom’s out there, enjoy your day.
You deserve it!

You are truly blessed; your mother is an inspiration to all of us! You are most certainly following in her footsteps. Please give her my best : ) Jackie
Thank you my daughter for your beautiful tribute, this mother couldn’t been any more proud of you! This is what life is all about! I congratulate you, too, you are an exceptional mother and grandmother that I respect and admire very much! Love you with all my heart.
